Sharon is a painter and illustrator, working in Columbus, Ohio. Straightforward fashion illustration is a reliably pretty means of expression; her larger works, while pretty, are more of an exploration of actual paint, thoughts and feelings. Images that conflict or complement each other can live in the same work; color and design tie the elements together. A New Yorker for 30+ years, Sharon is inspired by the NYC sidewalks, and the gum and stains there, which was a go -to background design for her paintings during those years. Sharon relies on daily dog walks to indulge her love of dogs, nature, and animal behavior.

Sharon has a BFA from the School of Visual Arts/ NYC and an Advanced Certificate in Animal Behavior and Conservation from Hunter College.
