Gateway to the Arts

Leah Pusecker-Reynolds

Leah Pusecker-Reynolds is a Columbus artist and grew up in a family of painters. She received a BFA in Graphic Design and Fine Art from Ohio University and worked as a designer and Illustrator for the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. Today, Leah works in a variety of mediums: acrylic, gouache; pen and ink, and oil pastel. She is inspired by the places she travels and the people she meets. Many of Leah's paintings depict scenes from some of her favorite places, including Morocco, Spain, the Bahamas, Italy and her own backyard.

Leah's exhibition is on display at the Gateway to the Arts Gallery through September. Check out the online store or stop by the ticketing level of the airport to see the gallery in person.

Takeaways from the 2025 Annual Report include but are not limited to:

Ohio Art league has continued its relationship with Art Possible Ohio to provide additional membership discounts to artist in the disability community who are selected for Art Possible Ohio’s Accessible Expressions traveling exhibition.
OAL has continued to sustain and grow membership across several criteria and has steadily had over 400 active members for the first time in over 6 years.
In 2025 Ohio Art League operated with another year of increased expenditures but ended the year with no deficit for the first time since prior to 2015 due to increased membership, art sales, and grants.

President's Corner

2026 remains a busy year for Ohio Art League with several exhibitions currently on view. Exhibition opportunities are still open. Our annual Fall Juried Exhibition is currently on view at the Pearl Conrad Gallery located at The Ohio State University Mansfield Campus through November, 19th. Congrats to Mark Sapp for Best in Show! Mindful: The Art of Observation continues through November 12th at Broad Street Presbyterian Church. Living Earth is at Raw Gallery through October 16th. Leah Pusecker-Reynolds is currently exhibiting at the Gateway to the Arts Gallery located at John Glenn International Airport. The call for Thumb Box, our annual holiday small works show is open through November, 8th. Mindful: Art of Joy is open through November, 8th. Thanks to a special gift from the Estate of Carol Butler our Mentorship Program will continue through 2027. More details will come soon. Dina Zaman's solo exit Lore is on view at the Cultural Arts Center through October, 10th. Sam Adebuga is selected for Art of Soul exhibition at the National Afro-American Museum and Cultural Center, located in Wilberforce, Ohio, from October 24th to February 28th.
