Intern with OAL

A work/study program learning lessons in the field, and working with an inspirational variety of local artists and art professionals.

Ohio Art League Intensive Gallery Internships

Interning with the Ohio Art League will allow students to experience the full scope that goes into keeping both a gallery and a historic arts organization running. Interns are involved in different aspects of the gallery, including administrative, financial, event planning, and curatorial elements. Interns work directly under the Ohio Art League’s gallery manager, but serve on a membership and involvement committee with the board of trustees. These internships allow interns to have a reference of esteem for their resume and practical management and professional skill development.

This position requires a 1 academic year commitment. During each semester, interns will work at least 15 hours per week. Interns will be expected to work additional hours during academic breaks and around events.
