There are aspects of travel, from gasoline stops to majestic overlooks, that require more than a quick photo or journal entry.  Matt Wyatt has captured numerous moments in his sketchbook during travels that have included most of the USA, the Caribbean, and Central America.  He then enlarged the original sketches, colored them, and mounted them for the show WHAT I DID ON MY SUMMER VACATION.

Matt Wyatt is a comics and poster artist whose work is on display in the Short North gazette, with past contributions to Alive, the Columbus Messenger, and the FreePress.  His posters have toured the world on the swag tables of rock band the Fleshtones and can also be found hanging in the windows of local record shops.  He is a frequent contributor to Ken Eppstein's Nix Comics and has illustrated several children's books as well.
