Karen Albanese Campbell Ohio Art League Artist of the month. OAL's mixed-media artist Karen Albanese Campbell creates series of art quilts called "The Tablerunner Project" which are created in the format of a basic covering for a kitchen table. They express ideas about the loss of home experienced by immigrants and refugees, and symbolize the sacred practice of hospitality as a path towards humanity and healing. Karen recent won "best of Show" in prints, drawings and photographs category and the 74th Annual Ohio Exhibition at the Zanesville Art Museum. Her award-winning woodcut relief print, "Moment of Silence" can be seen at the Zanesville Museum of Art throught Spe 7th, 2019.
