Ohio: People, Places, Things
This exhibition consists of photographs made by three artists. The artists have vastly different visions, styles, and techniques, but they are connected by the desire to share those visions and styles. The images are an informal documentation of life in Ohio, namely our people, places, and things. The idea is to show the variety inherent in our state.
This exhibition shows us ourselves. Ohio is a state characterized by variety. We live in the city, out on the farm, in small towns, and in suburbia. We have fun things, serious things, expensive things, cheap things. We are young and old, and in between. We are white and black, American born and foreign born. Throw all these into the mix, and we have Ohio.
