| This unique event will feature Ohio’s leading, contemporary, professional artists’ work in a silent auction. The elegant Special Patron Preview focuses on serious art patrons, while the main event on Saturday inter-mingles patrons and artists in what promises to be absurdity at its finest. ONE NIGHT: ABSOLUTELY ABSURD is in support of the state’s premier, visual arts, member service organization – the Ohio Art League, working on behalf of artists for the past 100 years. The silent auction will be featured both Friday and Saturday and include original works of art made by Ohio artists. The Patron Preview includes food by some of the finest local restaurants, an open bar, live music and first dibs on art. The main event on Saturday includes music, cash bar, and attendees dressed to thrill. Fabulous food. Local DJ’s, belly dancers, assorted entertainment. A photobooth to document the night’s festivities. An eclectic crowd including artists, patrons and supporters of Ohio’s diverse cultural community. ONE NIGHT: ABSOLUTELY ABSURD A SILENT ART AUCTION TO BENEFIT THE OHIO ART LEAGUE, A NON-PROFIT ORGANIZATION FOR THE VISUAL ARTS. ONE NIGHT: ABSOLUTELY ABSURD SATURDAY, MAY 15, 2010, 8PM – 1AM $40 PER TICKET Both events will take place at the Brownstone on Main, 122 East Main Street, Columbus, OH, 43215. Tickets are available at the door for $40. All proceeds benefit the Ohio Art League and member artists. Tickets are limited.
