Theme: Narratives & Story Telling

"Storytelling provides a narrative means of communication for entertainment, enlightenment or documentation. Visual works create a dynamic vehicle for the narrative, whether as short stories or ongoing narratives, and allow the viewer to engage in the story in a visceral as well as intellectual manner. Works considered for this exhibition employ narrative and storytelling as a key component, whether the story be completely resolved or open-ended. The exhibition will incorporate a variety of styles, concepts, and ‘plots’- essentially a collection of shorts by different authors."
 - Jim Bowling
