Since 1910, OAL's annual juried exhibitions have been the backbone of the organization's artistic programming, showcasing contemporary work by Ohio artists. For each exhibition a juror is invited to recognize work of high artistic merit.

Art curators and critics of national renown are invited to serves as jurors, reviewing and selecting members’ art for inclusion in the exhibitions.

Hosted by the  Peggy McConnell Arts Center in Worthington, Ohio. 

Exhibition runs: October 30, 2014 - January 5, 2015
Opening Reception: October 30, 2014 from 6-8pm 

McConnell Art Center Hours: 

Tuesday – Thursday, 10am – 9pm
Friday – Saturday, 10am – 5pm
Sundays, 12pm – 5pm
Closed on Mondays

Spring Juried Exhibition

The 2015 Spring Juried Exhibition will take place at the Mount Vernon Nazarene University Gallery in downtown Mount Vernon, Ohio.

The Spring Juried Exhibition 2014 took place at the Carnegie Gallery of the Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Branch.

Former Columbus College of Art & Design President, Denny Griffith, was the Juror for the themed exhibition Roy/Joy/Boy.


Student Juried Exhibition

This exhibition offers student artists the opportunity to show work professionally in any medium fit for wall display.

Last years Student Juried Exhibition took place at the Carnegie Gallery at the Columbus Metropolitan Library Main Branch and juried by artist and CCAD intructor, Julie Abijanac.

Ohio Made

The Ohio Made festival occurs early fall at the Ohio Village, a marketplace made up exclusively of Ohio artists and craft vendors, featuring a juried art exhibition open to both OAL members and non-members.

Ohio Made is a recent addition to OAL's annual programming. This event started in 2013 and will continue to be part of the annual line up.

The Ohio Art League has partnered with the Ohio History Connection, the Columbus Idea Foundry, Columbus Cultural Arts Center, and the Art and Artists Network to make this festival possible.

This festival includes live music and food vendors.
